Lamborghini Enters the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Craze

Lamborghini is stepping into the world of non-fungible tokens with a project so out of the realm of possibility that it's hard to believe. They have teamed up with an unknown artist to create the Space Key, a physical object that can be connected to digital art through a QR code.

This collaboration is a clear indication that wealthy car buyers are still spending money even in the midst of global financial uncertainty. The quick sales of Lamborghini's hybrid model, the Revuelto is evidence of this.

It's not a finite token

The non-fungible token (NFT) trend is spreading across the gaming world and even luxury car manufacturers are joining in the action. NFTs are unique digital identifiers stored on a distributed database known as Blockchain. They can be linked to any digital item such as music or images. They are unique, allowing their owners to ensure authenticity of the asset and to ensure its scarcity. They can also be programmed and trackable via the internet. Lamborghini chose NFT PRO which is a white-label NFT specialist to develop its new project.

Lamborghini will also offer five Space Keys via auction in addition to the art work themed around space. The NFTs will be paired with tangible objects that have been affixed to space, which could increase their value as the craze for NFTs continues to grow.
